1. Gin Buck

Keeping things plain and simple to start off with, a Gin Buck effortlessly combines two of our favourite ingredients, gin and ginger ale. Best served cool on a warm day, this is one of those refreshing cocktails that everyone should be able to make. Combine the light spice and bright citrus of Isle of Harris gin with ginger ale to really get the most out of this refreshing experience.

Ingredients:

– 50ml Isle of Harris Gin
– 75ml Ginger Ale

Method:

1. Fill your favourite highball glass with as much ice as you wish.
2. Pour your Isle of Harris Gin into your glass.
3. Top your glass up with your favourite ginger ale, perhaps tasting along the way to make sure that you get the perfect gin to ginger ale ratio for your tastes.
4. Enjoy your refreshing cocktail, perhaps garnishing it with a lemon twist or a lemon wedge.

2. Foghorn

A Foghorn is one of those timeless cocktails that really should be tucked away in every cocktail recipe book. First made famous in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City, this traditional cocktail can also be made with a London dry gin and a ginger ale.

Ingredients:

– 50ml Tarquin’s Cornish Dry Gin
– 10ml Fresh Lime Juice
– 100ml Ginger Ale

Method:

1. Fill your favourite old- fashioned glass with as much ice as you wish.
2. Pour your Tarquin’s Cornish Dry Gin and fresh lime juice into your glass. Take a bar spoon and stir until both of your ingredients have combined.
3. Top your glass up with your favourite ginger ale, perhaps tasting along the way to make sure that you get the perfect gin to ginger ale ratio for your tastes.
4. Enjoy your refreshing Foghorn, perhaps garnishing it with a lime twist.

– 50ml Elephant Gin
– 10ml Fresh Lime Juice
– 1tsp Agave Nectar
– Ginger Ale
– Fresh Mint

Method:

1. Fill your favourite cocktail glass with ice. Prepare your glass with as much ice as you wish to have present in your cocktail.
2. Pour your Elephant Gin, fresh lime juice and agave nectar into your cocktail shaker. Shake well until all of your ingredients have combined.
3. Strain your mixture into your old-fashioned glass. Top it off with ginger ale, stopping to taste along the way to make sure that the ratio is right for you.
4. Garnish your cocktail with some fresh mint leaves, perhaps also adding a lime twist.

Ingredients:

– 50ml Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb & Ginger Gin Liqueur
– 100ml Ginger Ale

Method:

1. Fill your favourite highball glass with as much ice as you wish.
2. Pour your gin liqueur over the ice.
3. Gently pour your ginger ale into your glass, perhaps tasting occasionally to ensure that the ratio suits your taste.

– 15ml Fresh Lime Juice
– 25ml Raspberry Syrup
– 75ml Ginger Ale

Method:

1. Fill your favourite cocktail shaker with ice.

3. Strain your mixture into a glass of your choice.
4. Pour ginger ale into your glass, stopping to taste your cocktail occasionally to ensure that the ratio suits your preferences.
